Adult Education Opportunities

Adults of all ages have multi-generational and generation-specific opportunities for religious exploration.

Adults of all ages have multi-generational and generation-specific opportunities for religious exploration.

These include:

Soul Matters Small Group Ministry: Small Group Ministries use a program called Soul Matters that follows monthly themes and allows the small groups of FUUSNites to reflect more deeply on those themes. You can learn more about the approach here. Small groups with two facilitators and six to eight others gather together for personal conversations with shared covenant. Click here to learn more and/or to register.  If Google Forms do not work for you, please email contact-member-services@fusn.org.

There are a variety of other adult education offerings throughout the year.  See the Social Justice Ministries Speakers Series and visit the affinity group pages to learn more: Over 60s Group, Plant-Based Eating Club, Young Adults, and more. These groups offer more opportunities to learn and grow together with those who have similar interests or at a similar life stage.

New to UU

NEW TO UNITARIAN UNIVERSALIST (NEW TO UU) WORKSHOPS
Our 2 hour New to UU workshops present an opportunity to learn more about Unitarian Universalism and the FUUSN community. They are held at various dates during the year and are led by one of our Senior Co-Ministers, Rev. Dr. Debra Haffner or Rev. Joel Miller. Whether you are new to Unitarian Universalism or simply curious about the history, values, and traditions that shape FUUSN, these sessions offer a welcoming space to explore and ask questions.

Participants will also learn more about ways to get involved at FUUSN and how to become a member of our congregation.
